It's not strange to mention the bronze Buddha statue. As an important kind of Arts and crafts, both the sculpture art and the production technology have condensed the development road of China's sculpture art. The bronze Buddha statue is a kind of special figure sculpture strictly. There is not much difference in the production process, but the characters described are different. Bronze Buddha statues are made of copper or bronze and gilded in appearance. Han and Tibetan are the two pillars. At present, the bronze Buddha statues in Ming and Qing Dynasties are often seen in the market, most of which are Tibetan Buddha statues. In Han Dynasty, the gold and bronze statues mainly bear the styles and techniques of Gandhara, Mathura and other statues in the popular period of Hindu Manichaeism, which are relatively simple in shape, thick and gentle in image, most of them have one head and two arms, most of them are quiet ones; the bronze statues made by Hebei Bo Chuang mainly bear the influence of several art schools in the period of Hindu Esoteric Buddhism, such as East India, Nepal, Swat, Kashmir and so on, The majority of the models are hate images, which are multi-faceted, multi armed or heterogeneous, with various postures such as sitting, standing and dancing.

The bronze Buddha statue in Ming and Qing Dynasties is one of the art of Buddhism. In Ming Dynasty, because of the need of temple construction and folk worship, as well as the need of the imperial court to give alms to religious leaders, the gold and copper statues developed rapidly, and formed the highest level of "Yongxuan gold and copper statues" in Yongle and Xuande years. At this time, the face of the statue is plump, the shape is beautiful, the gold is enough, and the artistic level is very high. The Qing Dynasty statues inherited the Ming Dynasty's custom and were made with exquisite craftsmanship, which was the peak of Tibetan golden and bronze Buddha statues. At present, these gold and bronze Buddha statues are not only the objects of worship and belief of the Buddhists, but also the precious national art heritage, which are liked by the collectors at home and abroad.
